With their exceptional touch and tone, powerful onboard features, and handsome looks, Roland’s digital home pianos have long been lauded as the finest in the industry. Now, with the release of the LX-17, LX-7, HP605, and HP603 models, we’ve achieved even greater levels of performance and value. These exciting next-generation instruments incorporate the latest developments in tone, keyboard action, speaker systems, and design. In addition, each model comes with a generous 10-year parts and labor warranty that includes in-home service, as well as numerous added extras to support learning and piano enjoyment.
Roland LX/HP: New Generation Digital Pianos
Living Piano Sound with SuperNATURAL Technology
All four of the new models share the latest generation of Roland’s acclaimed SuperNATURAL Piano Modeling technology. Typical digital pianos simply trigger recordings of acoustic piano notes when each key is played, resulting in a lifeless experience that lacks depth and dimension. In contrast, SuperNATURAL Piano reproduces the entire sound creation process of an acoustic piano, encompassing all the critical interactions between its many elements. The result is a complex, living piano sound that truly comes alive under your fingers, allowing you to perform and create with the authentic tone and response of a real acoustic grand.
PHA-50 Keyboard Offers Superior Touch and Lasting Durability
Another essential feature in the latest models is Roland’s new PHA-50 keyboard, which enables you to explore the highest levels of expression with the SuperNATURAL Piano engine. The keys combine wood sides with strong molded inner cores, giving you traditional acoustic feel and appearance while ensuring many years of trouble-free performance. The innovative key mechanism also features a stabilizing pin that ensures each key’s travel is smooth and quiet, providing superior feel with less “thump” noise, great for those late-night practice sessions with headphones.

Built-in Modern Tech to Support Mobile Devices
Smartphones and tablets are rapidly changing the way people learn to play the piano, and the new Roland pianos have the technology to keep up with this powerful trend. For one, all models give you the ability to access free music-score apps via Bluetooth. Right at the piano, you can visit sites like Sheet Music Direct to download a wide range of piano music, or install an iOS app like piaScore for free access to over 70,000 classical music scores. It’s even possible to turn music pages on your iPad’s screen with one of the piano’s foot pedals as you play! The HP605, LX-7, and LX-17 take the capabilities a step further, allowing you to wirelessly connect to iOS/Android apps or online practice videos, and then route the audio through the piano’s sound system for playing along. How fun is that?

Immersive Sound with Acoustic Projection Technology and Headphones 3D Ambience
The HP605, LX-7, and LX-17 feature Roland’s Acoustic Projection audio system, which uses a powerful multi-channel amplifier and precision speaker placement to recreate the rich, deep sound field of an acoustic grand piano. The HP605 and LX-7 have six speakers in three positions, while the flagship LX-17 has an eight-speaker layout which includes tweeters for optimum projection.

One of the biggest advantages of a digital piano is the ability to monitor the sound with headphones, so you can play any time you like without disturbing others. Going beyond simple sound reproduction, the Headphones 3D Ambience effect in each new Roland home piano optimizes the audio so it sounds like it’s coming from within the piano itself and not through your headphones. This delivers a rich, immersive experience that elevates enjoyment and allows you to practice for extended periods of time without fatigue.
