Brendan Buckley Judges V-Drum Semi Finals

On Saturday, September 29, our good friend, Brendan Buckley took a break from his very busy touring schedule with Shakira and Taiwanese super star Leehom Wang to judge the V-Drum semi final contest at Sam Ash in Torrance California. Sandwiched between tour dates in Italy and China Brendan had just one week in the United States before jet setting over seas. Static Revenger AKA Dennis White – First Look at Integra-7

A long time advocate of Roland products, Static Revenger AKA Dennis White is an extremely prolific, in-demand musician. His work spans a wide number of musical genres and styles and is perhaps best known for his EDM (electronic dance music) hits. In using the INTEGRA-7, Dennis explains that his turn around time for his projects has significantly decreased. Dennis explains, “The best part of all is that sound processing by the INTEGRA-7 is done at the speed of thought and is a piece of gear that should be in every professional studio.”

Omar Tavarez Explains Production Technique – MIDI Mapping Samples

Like all members of the Agents (Pitbull’s band), Omar Tavarez wears many hats. When Pitbull is not touring, Omar is in the studio with Pitbull working on new songs and productions. Omar explains how using MIDI mapping of samples helps brainstorm ideas and significantly expedites production. (This is a common technique used in dance music. Dan Silver Explains the “We Are Ever Lasting Silver Sessions” Remix Video

On June 30th, the remix of Standing Shadows‘ “We Are Everlasting Silver Sessions Remix” single and video was released on all digital outlets and featured on the front page of VEVO. Over the last year, the band has released several songs from their recording sessions at Rancho de la Luna studio in the famous Joshua Tree National Park with producer Chris Goss (Queens Of The Stone Age, UNKLE, Duke Spirit, The Cult) featuring engineer Ethan Allen (Gram Rabbit, Daniel Lanois, Spindrift). The remix is a break from the norm for the band whose influences consist of Muse, Arcade Fire, The National, Jesus And Mary Chain, Spiritualized, Interpol, Sigur Ros and oldies such as Beach Boys, Beatles, Pink Floyd, Velvet Underground and many more.
