ROLAND RECEIVES 2013 MIPA AWARD
TD-4KP V-Drums® Portable Honored by International Press
Los Angeles, CA, April 15, 2013 — Roland Corporation U.S. is pleased to announce that the TD-4KP V-Drums® Portable received this year’s prestigious mipa Musikmesse International Press Award for Electronic Drums. Considered by many the “Grammy” of the Musical Instrument/Pro Audio industry, mipa awards have been presented each year during the Musikmesse/Prolight + Sound since 2001.
This year more than 100 members of the international press voted for the best musical instruments of 2012/2013. Awards were presented during a special ceremony on Thursday, April 11, 2013, in Frankfurt, Germany.
The TD-4KP V-Drums Portable is one of Roland’s newest and most unique members of the V-Drums family. Featuring a small footprint and an innovative folding design for fast set up/breakdown and easy transport/storage, it is perfectly suited for mobile drumming and small spaces. Its powerful TD-4 sound module is equipped with a wide range of expressive, editable sounds and essential practice features, and its integrated pads provide a very natural playability.
