SHINY TOY GUNS TO PERFORM AT ROLAND BOOTH

Grammy®-Nominated Band To Showcase Roland Keyboards, Sign Autographs

Los Angeles, CA, January 13, 2009 — Roland is thrilled to announce that Grammy-nominated rock band Shiny Toy Guns will be performing at this year’s NAMM show in the Roland Showcase Theater on Saturday, January 17, 2009 at 3:00pm. There will be an autographing signing with the band immediately following their performance.

Shiny Toy Guns was founded in 2001 by bassist and keyboardist Jeremy Dawson and vocalist and guitarist Chad Petree. Their first studio album, We Are Pilots, featured three singles that peaked inside the top 30 in the U.S. Modern Rock Charts. The album also received a Grammy Award nomination in the category of Best Electronic/Dance Album.

The current line-up of the band features Jeremy Dawson, Chad Petree, Mikey Martin on drums, and newest member Sisley Treasure on vocals and keyboards. In 2008, the band released their second, highly-anticipated studio album, Season Of Poison. The band released “Ricochet!” as the first single from the album on September 2, 2008, followed by the much acclaimed “Ghost Town” in late 2008.
