ROLAND ANNOUNCES DP-990 DIGITAL PIANO
Perfect Piano Sounds in a Stylish Design
Anaheim CA, January 17, 2008—Roland is proud to announce the new DP-990 Digital Piano. This new sophisticated addition to the Roland lineup offers amazing sounds and touch, in a functional style. Along with the three luxurious silver-finish pedals which continuously monitor your footwork, the DP-990 exudes class and elegance.
For the most authentic keyboard feel, the DP-990 is equipped with Roland’s acclaimed PHA II weighted keyboard with Escapement, which yields a heavier touch in the low range and lighter touch in the upper. It also provides lighter resistance for pianissimo passages and stronger resistance for fortissimo.
The DP-990 features a world-class 88-key concert grand sound, with individual multi-samples for every key, and an extensive range of piano customization enables you to design your own unique piano sound by adjusting Damper, Strings and Key-off resonance.
An onboard USB port provides add-on functionality to the DP-990. You can play along with audio files or Standard MIDI files directly from the USB memory key, or layer pre-recorded music with your performances by connecting a USB CD drive (optional).
For quick and easy playback the DP-990 comes equipped with a Roland Audio Port which allows you to connect an iPod® or any portable music player for play along fun.
This new piano is available in Roland’s popular Satin Black or Medium Cherry finishes.
