RODGERS INSTRUMENTS ANNOUNCES NEW PRESIDENT
Lloyd Robbins Appointed As New President
Los Angeles, CA October 1, 2007—Rodgers Instruments LLC announced that Lloyd Robbins has been appointed as President.
Robbins has been with Rodgers for a decade and is a well-respected music industry veteran with extensive sales and marketing experience with Wurlitzer, Aeolian Corporation, Hal Leonard Corporation and Young Chang, Inc. He is a past president of the Piano Manufacturers Association International and Music Industry Conference and has also served on the NAMM Board. Since joining Rodgers in 1997, he has made numerous important and pivotal contributions to the company’s growth.
He succeeds current President, Dennis Houlihan, who has served in this capacity for the past 13 years. Houlihan will assume the role of Vice Chairman of Rodgers in addition to his role as President & CEO of Roland Corporation U.S. Both Robbins and Houlihan will report directly to Mr. Ikutaro Kakehashi, Rodgers Chairman and Roland Corporation Founder.
These new appointments are effective October 1, 2007.
