ROLAND ANNOUNCES MP-70 DIGITAL PIANO

ROLAND ANNOUNCES MP-70 DIGITAL PIANO

Austin, TX, July 14, 2006 — The Roland MP-70 Digital Piano brings greater expression and playability to an affordable price - in an attractive black satin cabinet. The MP-70 sounds and feels like a fine concert grand thanks to its 88-note Compact Progressive Hammer-Action Keyboard, 3 fixed pedals, and a new, more powerful speaker system.

The Roland MP-70’s stereo-sampled piano captures the detailed nuances of a grand piano – rich, dynamic piano tone, the sound of hammers striking strings, and even sympathetic string resonance. Reverb and chorus effects can be added to each of 15 tones with a simple button-push.

The MP-70’s new Twin Piano mode allows the keyboard to be split into two zones (with the same pitch ranges on both zones) — making the MP-70 the ideal instrument for student-teacher lessons or duets. Additional features include a sliding key cover, Fixed Damper, Soft and Sostenuto pedals for dynamic playing, plus a 2-track Song Recorder, an onboard metronome, onboard effects, a full modesty panel, an acrylic music rest, and 65 preset songs for practice or listening pleasure.

Affordably priced and simple to use, the new MP-70 incorporates Roland's award-winning piano sounds and keyboard touch in a traditional upright cabinet with an attractive black finish.
