Austin, TX, July 14, 2006—Roland is proud to announce the new E-Series Music Workstations: the Roland E-80, E-60, and E-50. With this new offering, Roland complements its comprehensive line of arranger pianos with a keyboard solution–for everyone.

The new flagship E-80 offers a first-class selection of sounds (considered high definition), including sampled Guitars and Pianos. Newly sampled drum kits have a realistic and natural resonance, and various "one-touch" sampled drum articulations such as Cymbal Roll bring sophisticated drum styles to your performance.

Additionally, the feature-packed E-80 comes with more than 350 styles created by a team of international programmers. Each tone and drum instrument offers individual EQ, along with three dedicated multi-effects for the overall Style/Song.

The E-80 allows you to play back your favorite Standard MIDI files, while the built-in Song Makeup Tools let you easily edit and customize your songs using an intuitive touchscreen interface. A Roland D-Beam allows users to manipulate a wide range of parameters for exciting and dynamic musical performances.

With a gigabyte of WAV ROM memory, high-definition tones, and a powerful 4-speaker bi-amped sound system, the E-80 is a master in its class.

The new E-60 (76 keys) and E-50 (61 keys) offer many of the same advanced features as the E-80, including excellent music styles and high quality sounds, perfect for beginners and advanced musicians alike.

With 120 new styles to provide fresh music content, an attractive DigiScore for lyric and chord display, 16 MByte internal memory (Solid State Disk), Floppy Disk Drive and Memory Card Slot that supports storage devices such as PCMCIA cards, the E-Series boards pack a powerful punch.
