ROLAND JOINS THE QUEEN OF POP

Los Angeles, CA, June12, 2006—Roland announces they are once again partnering with the queen of pop--Madonna. In 2004 the company was a proud participant in Madonna's Re-Invention Tour and supplied the team with numerous synths for the touring rig. This year, Roland supplied Madonna's keyboard team with custom products for the 2006 Confessions Show.

Keyboardist Marcus Brown teamed with Roland and Bruce Forat [www.forat.com] to create a one-of-a-kind Roland synth rig for the performances. The main synths in Brown's new rig are customized all-white Roland V-Synths, V-Synth XTs, and Fantom-X7s. He also added a brand new Roland SH-201 to his setup.

Brown relates,. "I've already programmed a full bank of patches for my SH-201. I love it! It's warmer than other analog-modeling synths I've used, plus the onboard FX just add that extra something. I think it's wicked…very old school."
