The new turn-key program, which includes an interactive CD-ROM complete with PowerPoint presentations, how-tos and lesson materials, is designed to make directing Club Roland classes, simple, fun, and professional, for increased effectiveness. This latest program expands Roland's popular organ curriculum and includes lessons for the piano.

Club Roland has long been known as one of the most effective teach-to-sell programs in the country. Now, with the addition of new program materials, and the new piano element, Roland Contemporary Keyboards has strengthened the program that brings the fun of recreational music to adults of all ages.

Roland is now offering a CD-ROM to Club Roland dealers which is meant to accompany the Club Roland program sheet music. The new CD-ROM features the entire Club Roland course complete with lesson plans for each song, and a PowerPoint presentation that corresponds with the lesson plan, which directors can follow. This PowerPoint portion of the CD makes presenting the lesson a simple and straight-forward process, and is visually stimulating for students. Additionally the CD features a complete set of forms, graduation certificates and templates to help directors to personalize their programs, and the popular Club Roland "Friends Making Music Together" posters, for in-store promotions.

Lynda Smith relates, “From the get-go, the Club Roland program was designed with fun and accessibility in mind. Our new and improved product is about increased efficiency and simplicity. Ultimately, Club Roland is about selling Roland pianos and organs. Our goal was to deliver an extremely professional product that would allow Directors to enhance their lessons, organize their materials, and save them valuable time. This new Club Roland CD-ROM and ancillary materials deliver that promise.”

The basic premise of the new version of Club Roland is that learning to play the piano, the organ or any other instrument should be fun and stress-free. No matter what age, people like to laugh. With that concept in mind, Roland has rolled out a program that is interlaced with subtle selling, and enhanced by games and interactive and enjoyable activities.
