Los Angeles, Calif., July 22, 2005—Roland is proud to announce that Roland Users' Group magazine has earned an APEX 2005 Award for Publication Excellence. Volume 22, Number 2 of the popular Roland publication was recently honored in the "Magazines & Journals" category.

The power-packed issued featured a superstar, artist roundtables that focused on the company's electronic percussion products, and the latest crop of cutting-edge tools for the stage and studio.

The the 17th annual APEX awards was hosted by Communications Concepts, Inc., and are based on excellence in editorial content, graphic design, and the ability to achieve overall communications excellence.

Over 5,000 entries were submitted for the 2005 competition.
