ROLAND APPOINTS VINCE LADUCA TO PRODUCT MANAGER OF SYNTHS AND SAMPLERS

Los Angeles, CA., August 11, 2004—Roland Corp. U.S. is proud to announce the appointment of Vince LaDuca to the position of Product Manager of Synths and Samplers. LaDuca, an eight-year veteran of Roland Corp. U.S., has coordinated nationwide sales training and sound-design efforts for many Roland products. As Product Manager, LaDuca will now oversee and manage marketing strategies for Roland's highly acclaimed Synth and Sampling product line. He comes from a background of MI retail and has also earned major label credits for engineering.

"Vince built-up an extensive background in retail sales before joining our Roland team nearly a decade ago," says Douglas Hanson, Roland Director of Product Management & Marketing. "Since then he has acquired a vast knowledge of Roland Groove, Recording, and Keyboard products, which made him the perfect candidate for this position. He will now be responsible for several of Roland's key products, including our critically acclaimed Fantom-X and MV-8000 workstations. His passion for the product line is unprecedented, and we're thrilled to have him onboard."
