Los Angeles, CA; May 21, 2004-- Roland Corporation U.S. is proud to announce that it has effectively strengthened and unified its award-winning sales and marketing teams with two new management appointments.

Doug Hanson has been promoted to the newly created position of Director of Product Management and Marketing. In addition to serving as the Acting Product Manager for Keyboards, Hanson will now directly supervise all other Roland Product Managers. Hanson joined the company in 1991 and has mastered a variety of different positions within Roland's Musical Instruments division during the last 13 years.

"Doug's appointment will streamline our Product Management processes and strengthen the team," says Roland Vice President and MI General Manager, Chris Bristol.

Paul Youngblood has been promoted to the position of Director of Sales. Youngblood has been with Roland for nearly two decades, and has also worked in a variety of key roles over the years. As Director of Sales Youngblood will oversee all sales revenue, and will be supervising the Roland Sales Team leaders and their respective District Sales Managers nationwide.

Prior to his appointment as Director of Sales, Paul held the position of Director of Marketing and Product, where he oversaw a team of Roland and BOSS Product Managers. He also worked closely with the product development teams at various Roland factories worldwide.
