ROLAND DEBUTS STYLISH NEW DIGITAL PIANO

New F-50 Boasts Good Looks and Even Better Sounds and Playability

Anaheim, January 15, 2004—Roland is proud to announce the F-50 Digital Piano, a stylish new instrument with a light wood grain cabinet ideal for the home.

Expressive piano and instrument sounds and an 88-note Progressive Hammer-Action Keyboard make playing the F-50 a joy, while a built-in song recorder and 65 demo songs make practice more effective.

With its streamlined appearance and light wood grain finish, the F-50 fits beautifully in any home—be it the living room, den or child’s room. The clear acrylic music stand perfectly complements the F-50’s smooth lines and form, making it a pleasure to see and play.

A choice of 20 high-quality sounds cover the spectrum of acoustic and electric pianos, plus organ, strings and more—all playable from an expressive, 88-note Progressive Hammer-Action Keyboard with a lighter touch in the upper range and a heavier touch in the lower range. The supplied DP-8 Half Damper Pedal supports the full range of pedal positions for a more realistic piano playing experience.

Sounds can be layered in Dual mode, while several “Split” tones make it possible to play two sounds like bass or strings on the left-hand and piano or organ on the right. Practice makes perfect, and that’s why the F-50 includes a built-in Song Recorder for recording and playing back a performance. It’s a great way to check one’s playing for accuracy. And with 65 demo songs built-in—including many classical favorites—it’s easy to learn by ear or just sit back and enjoy the music. Connections include stereo 1/4-inch outputs, stereo 1/4-inch inputs, two stereo 1/4-inch Headphones jacks, Damper and Soft pedal inputs, plus MIDI In and Out jacks.
