ROLAND TAKES A SPRING BREAK
Sun Splash Tours Invites Keyboard Leader To Barbados
Los Angeles, March 25, 2003 — Roland Corporation U.S. helped kick off Spring Break season by co-sponsoring the 2003 Spring Break Lime Music Festival on March 15th and 16th at sunny Needham's Point Beach in Barbados. Hosted by the popular Sun Splash Tours student travel company, the event was a tremendous success with over 6,000 international students attending over a two-day period.Founded in 2002, the Spring Break Lime Festival is designed to bring American, Barbadian and Caribbean college students together through pop, rock, hip-hop and Caribbean music. The festival featured 36 hours of live performances by 25 international and local artists and DJs including Duncan Sheik and Just Jen.
Roland Corporation U.S. donated a Roland RD-150 portable stage piano to the Spring Break Lime Music Festival, which was donated to a local charity after the show.
