New F-90-BK Offers Same Great Features with Black Finish

Anaheim, Calif., Jan. 16, 2003—Roland is proud to announce the F-90-BK Digital Piano, a new black cabinet version of the popular F-90. This new color option is great for piano buyers who prefer more traditional looks to the contemporary design of the original maple F-90. Aside from the color change, the F-90-BK is identical to the F-90—sporting an 88-note Progressive Hammer-Action Keyboard, stereo-sampled piano sounds, a variety of instrument tones, plus an onboard metronome and speakers. Now there are two great choices in compact digital pianos: The original F-90 and new F-90-BK.

The F-90-BK’s compact size and black cabinet make this digital piano a great choice for any home. And the sounds are some of Roland’s best—from stereo-sampled grand pianos with startling realism and detail to instruments ranging from electric pianos and harpsichord to organ, strings and choir. And with an 88-note Progressive Hammer-Action Keyboard, the F-90-BK offers the same expressive key response of an acoustic grand, with a heavier touch in the lower range and a lighter touch in the upper range.

A built-in metronome offers adjustable tempo, beat and volume, while dual headphone jacks permit silent practice. The F-90-BK also comes with 50 onboard demo songs that can be used for practice or listening enjoyment. Students can even play along with CDs using the stereo Line input. The F-90-BK’s built-in stereo speaker system faithfully reproduces each sound for truly authentic performances. Connections to the F-90-BK include stereo Line outputs, a stereo Line input, a stereo Headphone jack, two Pedal jacks (damper, soft) and MIDI In and Out.
