KF-7 DIGITAL INTELLIGENT PIANO

Anaheim, Calif. Jan. 16, 2003—Roland Contemporary Keyboards is proud to announce the new KF-7 Digital Intelligent Piano. In one sleek, contemporary cabinet, the KF-7 combines the responsive touch and authentic sound of an acoustic grand and a host of advanced but easy-to-use playing features and functions.

While the KF-7's contemporary look shares little in common with an acoustic grand, in reality, this advanced digital piano is nearly identical in terms of playability. The KF-7 features the latest customizable stereo-sampled pianos that can reproduce the resonance created by the hammer striking the string. This attractively designed digital piano for the home offers onboard arranger functions and exciting vocal effects, a new professional Progressive-Hammer Action Keyboard, true 128-voice polyphony and stereo-sampled piano sounds.

Simply touch the “Score Button” and the “DigiScore” screen will display the score of internal preset songs, Standard MIDI Files or songs you have recorded yourself. As you “Touch the Notes” on the screen, that same note will sound on the piano—an amazing practice aid for the performer. The “Music Assistant” allows you to select a music style that best suits the song you want to play. You can even change the accompaniment to different styles as well as add interesting introductions and endings.

In addition to its arranger capabilities, the KF-7 includes a Multi-Function sequencer that can be used for creating your own song arrangements including drums, bass, piano and many other instruments. The KF-7 also boasts a variety of digital effects to give users just the right quality of tone desired. An advanced three-dimensional surround sound effects allows users to simulate the excitement of a live on-stage performance—making the KF-7 ideal for family get-togethers and impromptu performances. There’s even a Microphone input for creating karaoke-type sing-alongs, complete with Standard MIDI File lyric display and onboard vocal effects.
