ROLAND CK CRUISES INTO NEW YEAR WITH INNOVATIVE ORGAN PROGRAMS
Atelier Organs, Vacation Getaways, and More
Anaheim, Calif. Jan. 16, 2003—Roland Contemporary Keyboards demonstrates its commitment to the home organ market with the announcement of a marketing program designed to promote Roland merchandising efforts nationwide. Complete with customer vacation getaways and in-store Cruise Parties, Roland is redefining what it means to market home organs."We've already had such tremendous success with the long-established Club Roland concept. It's become the fastest growing senior organ program in the country," relates Lynda Smith, Roland Contemporary Keyboard Marketing Manager. "This year we're refocusing our efforts and incorporating fresh new ideas that provide on going support to those customers who enjoy making music on their Atelier organs."
Building on the Club Roland concept that invites seniors to play Roland's world-class organs in a fun, social environment, earlier this fall several dealers put together an imaginative in-store program called the “Roland Cruise Party."
Smith says, "This event was great fun for customers and inspired them to become involved in music-making in a warm and friendly atmosphere. After arriving at the dealer’s store, they were whisked away on a virtual vacation of-a-lifetime. Club Roland National Director, Sandy Porter devised a magical morning of cruising to many exotic ports of call that included regional music and interactive entertainment. Of course no cruise is spectacular without a feast which was included in this program as well as a live Club Roland Class- right on-board ship!"
At Florida’s Showtime Music, more than 100 music enthusiasts joined in the fun and walked away with a special photo of the occasion.
In early October, another 100 adventuresome music lovers boarded a ship to California's beautiful Catalina Island (26 miles off the coast of southern CA) for a three-day music-fest. The program consisted of informative workshops that demonstrated easy-to-use music styles and fun-to-play accompaniments that have made Roland Atelier Organs so popular. All of this activity took place amongst the sail boats, warm winds and beautiful sunshine found on Catalina Island. The evenings were highlighted with festive cocktail parties and gourmet dinners that culminated in rousing performances from Roland performers and staff.
