Innovative Mix-Manipulation Software for Windows

Welcome to an exciting new era of “visual” audio manipulation. R-MIX software—powered by Roland’s V-Remastering technology in conjunction with VariPhrase—lets you see the components of a complete stereo mix as color-coded clouds of energy and harmonic matter as it plays! Going further, you can select various mix components and freely edit them—an impossible task in the past. Change level and panning for individual instruments within a mix, and add effects to each as desired. You can even adjust the pitch and speed independently, with great sound quality realized with VariPhrase.

How does this power translate to you? With R-MIX, you can quickly create “minus-one” karaoke files from existing songs, or build your own remixes and mash-ups using two pairs of stereo tracks. R-MIX is a skill-building tool as well, letting you isolate an instrument within a mix and slow it down for study. It’s also possible to clean up and enhance old recordings by applying noise reduction and effects.

High-Quality Sound

R-MIX delivers high-quality, natural-sounding results with few undesirable artifacts, glitches, or over-modulated sounds.* And once you’ve finished your project, you can export it as an audio file to use with any standard music playback device or music software program.
*As with any audio processing software, results with R-MIX are dependent on the quality of the source material.

Create Your Own Mixes

You can easily make “minus-one” karaoke files from existing songs by lowering the level of the recorded vocal or any other instrument. Using the same technique in reverse, you can solo an individual part and analyze it for study; slow down a fast guitar solo, for example, and learn how to play it. Or create mash-ups and remixes with stereo files as if they were multi-tracks. The sky’s the limit!

Effects and Noise Cancel

R-MIX lets you apply effects to an entire mix, or only to a specific part such as vocals. Delay and reverb effects are on board, perfect for bringing depth and dimension to sounds. And it’s easy to clean up your mixes with the Noise Cancel function, which eliminates undesirable hiss and hum noises.

Fast Workflow

With R-MIX, there’s only one friendly screen to navigate—no need to switch screens or hunt through a maze of embedded menus. And the controls are designed for natural workflow, allowing you to create effortlessly. A built-in help window is provided for each task, so you can operate R-MIX without the need for a separate manual.
