Estilizado y de peso ligero, el MDS-4 mantiene los V-Pads, V-Cymbals®, y el modulo TD-4 seguramente en su correspondiente lugar durante la interpretación. Además, también acomoda fácilmente los pedales dobles disponibles de manera comercial.
