  • VS-1880 System Update Version 1.50 (PC - SMF)



    This update adds compatibility with the VS8F-3 effects board. Once you have downloaded and extracted the contents of the .zip file, refer to the "README!! FIRST (VS8F-3 Basics).pdf" file for basic installation instructions.


    NOTE:
    If you do not have a software or hardware midi sequencer, you will need to obtain a midi interface for your computer and download the PC SMF Update Application in order to complete the update.

  • VS-1880 System Update Version 1.50 (MAC - SMF)

    This update adds compatibility with the VS8F-3 effects board. Once you have downloaded and unstuffed the .SIT file, refer to the "README!! FIRST (VS8F-3 Basics).pdf" file for basic installation instructions.

  • VS8F-3 Plug-Ins Legacy Update (PC/Mac)

    Here are the latest updates of all the VS Plug-Ins available for the Legacy VS recorders (VS-1680/1880/1824CD). This includes: T-Racks Mastering Plug-Ins, Antares Auto-Tune, McDSP Chrome Tone, TCR3000 Reverb, UA 1176 and LA-2A Compressors, and the Roland VS8F-3 Plug-in package. Please read the NOTE below, as well as the "README!!InstallingPlug-InUpdates.pdf" included in the download folder for the update instructions.

    NOTE: The update files that you download and save to your computer from the link above are enclosed in a compressed zip file. These files will need to be extracted from the zip file before you can burn them to a CD.
    You can do this by using the WinZip application on your PC running Windows XP, or by using Stuffit Expander on your Macintosh (needed for OS 10.2.x or below). If you're using Mac OS X 10.3.x or above, then you will not need Stuffit Expander.

    When you double-click on the downloaded file that you saved to your computer, WinZip or Stuffit Expander should startup automatically. If you do not have WinZip (PC) or Stuffit Expander (Mac) installed, then you must download it, install it, and extract/unzip the update files folder before you can complete the update procedure.
