RC-20XL: Setting the guide tone:

There are 8 different Guide tones (sounds) in the RC-20XL to choose from. Use the following procedure to select them:

1. Turn the GUIDE knob clockwise to adjust the desired volume level.

2. Hold EXIT[SHIFT] and then press TAP TEMPO[GUIDE SELECT]. Each time you press TAP TEMPO [GUIDE SELECT] while continuing to hold SHIFT, a new guide tone is selected.

3. Once you've chosen the tone, release the buttons.
Note: When you store a phrase into memory, the selected guide tone is also saved with the phrase.
