HD-1: Pad Sensitivity

Here's how to adjust the sensitivity of the pads in the HD-1:

1. With the power on, press and hold the VARIATION button until it begins to flash.

2. Continue to hold VARIATION and press one of the 1-5 buttons to change the sensitivity.

Setting 1 - Very strong playing is required to produce loud volume from the HD-1.
Setting 2 - Moderate playing is required to produce loud volume.
Setting 3 - This is the Factory setting.
Setting 4 - Loud volume is produced by playing lightly.
Setting 5 - Loud volume is produced by playing very lightly.

3. When you're finished, release the buttons. The new sensitivity setting is stored automatically.
