RD-170: Selecting Sounds

The RD-170 comes with 64-high-quality sounds that can be selected using the TONE SELECT and VARIATION buttons. Use the following procedure to select sounds:

1. Press the desired TONE SELECT button: Grand Piano, Rhodes, etc.

2. Use the VARIATION button to select a variation.

3. Press VARIATION again to select the next variation.

Note: You can also hold down the TONE SELECT button and press DEC/NO / INC/YES to select a variation tone.
