Octapad II, SPD-30: Assigning Instruments to Pads in a Kit

Use the following steps to assign an instrument to a pad in the SPD-30.

1. Press MENU.

2. Press the function 3 button (ENTER).

3. Hit the pad that you'd like to assign a sound to.

4. Turn the function 3 knob to select the instrument.

5. Repeat Steps 3 and 4 for the remaining pads if desired.

6. When you're finished, press the BACK button twice to return to the main screen. The new settings are stored automatically.
