BK-7m: Selecting MIDI Soft Thru

Use the following procedure to set the BK-7m to re-transmit incoming MIDI messages using its Thru function.

1. Press MENU so it lights.

2. Turn the CURSOR/VALUE dial to select "MIDI."

3. Press the CURSOR/VALUE dial to confirm your selection.

4. Turn the CURSOR/VALUE dial to select "Edit System."

5. Press the CURSOR/VALUE dial to confirm your selection.

6. Turn the CURSOR/VALUE dial to select "Parameters."

7. Press the CURSOR/VALUE dial to confirm your selection.

8. Turn the CURSOR/VALUE dial to select "Soft Thru."

9. Press the CURSOR/VALUE dial to confirm your selection.

10. Turn the CURSOR/VALUE dial to make your selection:
  • OFF—MIDI thru is disabled.
  • GLOBAL—All incoming MIDI information is sent out.
  • PIANO—Use this setting when connected to a digital piano.
11. Press the CURSOR/VALUE dial to confirm your selection.

12. Press EXIT two times to display "Save MIDI Set."

13. Turn the CURSOR/VALUE dial to select "Save MIDI Set."

14. Press the CURSOR/VALUE dial to confirm your selection.

15. Press the flashing "WRITE" button to confirm and save your MIDI thru setting.
