The SPD-30 features a Phrase-Loop tempo indicator for viewing the current tempo of a phrase. If desired, this indicator can be turned off. Here's how.

1. Press MENU.

2. Turn the function 1 knob to select "SYSTEM."

3. Press the function 3 button (ENTER). 

4. Turn function 1 to highlight "Tempo Indicator," and then turn function 3 to choose "OFF."

5. Press the BACK button when you're finished. The new setting is saved automatically.
