The BR-80 allows you to change the key of a song in eBand mode without changing the playback speed. This is useful, for example, if you would like to sing along to a song that is not quite in your singing register. The following steps will guide you through adjusting the playback pitch of an audio file in eBand mode.

  1. Press the power button  until eBand is selected.

  2. Turn the data dial  to select an audio file.

  3. Press the TR3/4 (SPEED) button . The SPEED & PITCH screen appears

  4. Press the ENTER button until ON is select on the top right of the screen.

  5. Use the CURSOR buttons and the data dial to adjust the desired PITCH parameters:

    Note: 1 Semitone = 100 Cents

  6. Press the PLAY button to hear the audio file at it's adjusted playback speed.

  7. Press EXIT to return to the main screen.
