The VS-1680, VS-1880 and VS-1824CD do not have computer integration and cannot be connected directly to a computer. To pass audio into your computer software in real-time, you will need an audio interface to connect the audio outputs of your VS recorder to the inputs of an audio interface. The QUAD-CAPTURE will allow you to pass a stereo audio signal into a computer digitally. However, if you need more tracks to be recorded at one time, the OCTA-CAPTURE will allow 8 channels to pass into your computer at once. NOTE:

• The SCSI port on the back panel is for connecting an external CD, HDD or Zip drive and does not have computer integration functionality.
• There is not a USB adapter available to connect the VS recorder to a computer.
