The BR-80 procedure for transferring recordings to a computer will depend on the mode that your recordings reside on (i.e. MTR, eBand or LIVE REC mode). The following article will guide you through the steps to get your recordings as audio files onto your computer in each mode.

Your BR-80's USB mode will first need to be set to STORAGE:

1. Press the MENU button.

2. Cursor to "Function" and then press ENTER.

3. Cursor to "USB" and then press ENTER.

4. Use the dial to specify "STORAGE" and then press ENTER. A message will appear: "Please restart to change the USB mode."

5. Press ENTER.

6. Power off the BR-80 and then turn the power back on. Your BR-80 is now ready to be synced with the eBand software.
   
   

BR-80 Modes:

I. If you recorded in MTR Mode:

III. If you recorded in LIVE REC mode:

1. Connect the BR-80 to your computer. A window will appear showing you the contents of the BR-80's memory.

2. Open the ROLAND folder and then open the LIVEREC folder. Your recordings will appear on the screen as files.

3. Drag the file(s) in the LIVEREC folder to a desired location on your computer (e.g. the Desktop).
