R-09: Repairing a Damaged or Unplayable File

The R-09 contains a file Repair function to repair files that are unplayable due to the R-09's power inadvertently turning off, removing the SD card or the SD memory reaching its maximum capacity while recording. The following steps will guide you through repairing an unplayable file.

NOTE: The Repair function is available with Version 2.0 or later. Your R-09's current version of operating system appears on the screen when the unit is powering on. You may download the latest version of operating system by clicking on the link below:

FILE REPAIR

  1. Press the   button.
  2. Press the up and down arrow buttons to select a file and then press .

  3. Press the up and down arrow buttons to select "Repair" and then press .


    Note: The "Repair" function will only appear if the R-09 detects a damaged file.
  4. When the confirmation message appears, press  to confirm the operation.

  5. Press the button to return to the main screen.

NOTE: Even if repaired, up to five seconds at the end of the file may be deleted due to file curruption. Also, this feature cannot repair all files.
