Greek-born Kostas Karamitroudis, also known as Gus G, is well known for his outstanding work with Ozzy Osbourne’s band and for leading his own group, Firewind. He has amassed an incredible body of work, both in the studio and touring worldwide. It’s the combination of gigging with Ozzy Osbourne’s band, his 2010 Grammy nominated album “Scream,” and his consequent worldwide touring that have boosted Gus G’s reputation as one of the leading guitarists in the current metal/rock scene. In addition to that, his ear for great tone and his ability to shred and apply it musically make him a triple threat. If there’s a metal guitarist who’s sound shapes the current metal scene, it is Gus, which is why we asked him to share his signature tone.
