If you\u2019ve been lusting after the warm, rich sounds of Roland\u2019s classic JUPITER-8, JUNO-106, and JX-3P analog synths from the 1980s and can\u2019t get your hands on the originals, you won\u2019t get any closer than the Roland Boutique series. Consisting of the JP-08, JU-06, and JX-03 sound modules, the series employs Roland\u2019s acclaimed Analog Circuit Behavior (ACB) technology to recreate the sound and response of the original legends with stunning accuracy. If you haven\u2019t had a chance to hear the Roland Boutique series in person, check out the great new\u00a0audio demos we\u2019ve recently created using the factory patches\u00a0in each module.<\/p>\n

About the Roland Boutique Patch Demos<\/h2>\n

The following\u00a0demos use the factory patches\u00a0in the JP-08, JU-06, and JX-03 sound modules. The only effects added are those included in the modules.<\/p>\n

These sounds work great on their own for retro styles, and excel at\u00a0adding analog character and warmth when layered with modern keyboard sounds and computer-based virtual instruments. Using the hands-on controls on each module, it’s easy to tweak these sounds to your individual needs, or start from scratch and create your own all-new sounds. You can store your custom sounds in user memories on the modules, and also back up\u00a0your patch collections to\u00a0your computer via USB.<\/p>\n

Roland Boutique Factory Patches: JP-08<\/h2>\n

The JP-08<\/a>\u00a0recreates the\u00a0massive sound\u00a0of\u00a0the JUPITER-8, one of the most coveted\u00a0analog\u00a0synths of all time. Featuring 36 knobs and sliders from the original JUPITER-8 front panel, the JP-08 is highly programmable and adds enhanced functionality with\u00a0extra LFOs and expanded VCO range.<\/p>\n
