In charge of this facelift is\u00a0<a title=\"Joe Sparacio Twitter\" href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/joesparacio\" target=\"_blank\">Joe Sparacio<\/a>, Web Manager for Roland US. In this video Joe explains some of the technologies and exciting new features integrated into the new redesign.<\/p>\n<p>According to Joe, when planning the redesign our goals were\u00a0to:<!--more--><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Modernize the site with a wider layout, larger fonts and new technologies<\/li>\n<li>Increase promotional areas with new homepage layout and more banner space<\/li>\n<li>Increase personalized content<\/li>\n<li>Simplify navigation<\/li>\n<li>Improve accessibility on mobile devices by eliminating Flash and using web standards for audio and video playback<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Thanks to the web team, we are now able to engage our end users in a way that we haven&#8217;t been able to in the past. Our top five features are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsive, mobile-friendly design<\/li>\n<li>New top-level Artist section<\/li>\n<li>Application-based product categories<\/li>\n<li>Comprehensive Support search<\/li>\n<li>Integrated WordPress\u00a0blog<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It was a long haul, for the web team but it was definitely worth the wait. Everyone at Roland is very proud of their\u00a0accomplishment.
