On Thursday, November 8th,\u00a0Steve Stevens<\/a>\u00a0demonstrated his playing style and his use of guitar synths at the V-Guitar Experience event at Guitar Center in Hollywood, California. On stage with Steve were the\u00a0GR-55<\/a>\u00a0guitar synth and the\u00a0G-5 Stratocaster\u00ae<\/a>. The V-guitar experience tour consisted of 20 dates that started on September 22 through November 25th in various locations around the world.<\/p>\n

Steve Stevens has long been a guitar synth advocate since the early 80s with his use of the\u00a0GR-700<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0GR-33<\/a>. Steve explains that in his recent\u00a0Billy Idol<\/a>\u00a0tour, he played all the keyboard parts with his guitar synth and completely eliminated the need for a keyboard player while\u00a0Billy Morrison\u00a0<\/a>filled in as the second guitar player. Steve explained that his set-up worked flawlessly, even with keyboard heavy songs such as\u00a0Flesh for Fantasy<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Eyes Without a Face<\/a>.<\/p>\n
