The Step Modulator is one of the most vital functions available for programming. This patch uses all four possible source step patterns and effects the formant of the waveforms as well as controlling the Resonator COSM as well as the filter cutoff parameter. The end result is a very rhythmic pattern that at first makes you think you are listening to one of the spliced factory rhythm waveforms. The D Beam and the Time trip pad allow you to change the pitch of the waveform and the overall filtering of the sound. |

This sound uses the new Super Saw and Feedback Oscillators to create it's strong lead character. The Beam is set so that as you move towards it Oscillator one will fade out while Oscillator two actually fades in to provide feedback tones. The Amp Simulator used in the effects section is a very powerful tool that allows you to select different kinds of guitar amp simulation. There are numerous choices each one providing a really different type of tone. In my music it's really important to get a lead sounds that cut through the mix of guitar and drums. This amp quality and overdrive mixed with chorus and delay is what makes the patch really work! |

The Mysterious bubbles come from Oscillator one which is assigned to the beam. It is an innocent vocal type sound until the bubble effect is introduced. If you try turning the pitch up on Osc 1 you will see how this patch works. The V-synth always has little surprises that you need to be willing to discover! |

Changing the time parameter of both Oscillators on the beam controller creates this planet of munchkins (little people) chatting. I also used a touch of filtering on Osc 1 for some high end buzzy talk. Knob two has complete control of Osc 2's pitch. |
