Top Awards for Roland V-Drums Family
Since 1998, Drum! magazine has taken the time to honor the artists and the musical gear that have made their mark in the intense world of percussion. The “Drummies” have become known to many as the leading award of merit for percussionists worldwide and are presented annually to an elite roster of musicians and top notch gear.

Thousands of drummers vote annually to select the year’s top drummer within a broad range of musical categories such hip-hop, country and funk. The year’s most popular gear is also recognized as part of the Drummies in categories such as drum sets, hand drums and electronics.
Year after year Roland artists and instruments are nominated for Drummies, and 2013 was no exception. Tony Royster Jr. won the 2013 Artist Drummie for Hip-Hop and Aaron Spears won for Funk, while the Roland TD-30KV V-Pro Kit received the Drummie for Electronics. Congratulations to the Roland family for another great year of winner and runner-up accolades!
