If you play V-Drums on an upper floor in a home, apartment, condo, or office, Roland’s innovative new NE-10 and NE-1 Noise Eater products are for you. Designed for use under kick pads/pedals and hi-hat controllers/stands, these unique drum sound isolation devices reduce noise transfer to rooms below by approximately 75 percent. With the NE-10 and NE-1, you’re able to enjoy playing V-Drums anytime without disturbing others, keeping your family members and neighbors happy and you from being evicted or worse!

Making V-Drums Even More Quiet for Practice and Home Recording

All drummers know that V-Drums are awesome for practicing or recording—simply plug in a set of headphones and rock away with a only minimal amount of acoustic sound (if any) escaping outside the room you’re playing in. If the only other people nearby are in rooms on the same level or above you, then you can drum freely with no worries of angry neighbors showing up at your door.

But if you play your V-Drums in a multi-level structure, you might have some issues with low-frequency sounds (thump, thump, thump) being transferred through the floor as you play the kick and hi-hat pedals. If the people occupying rooms below are a little less than thrilled with this as you jam for hours on end, Noise Eater products deliver a simple, convenient, and affordable solution—just place them under pedals and stand legs as needed, and the problem is solved!

Simple-to-Use Sound Isolation

The NE-10 is a sound isolation board that you place under a kick or hi-hat pedal. If you’re using compact, integrated products such as the FD-8 Hi-Hat Controller and the new low-noise KT-10 Kick Trigger Pedal, an NE-10 under each pedal is all you need. If you have a larger kick trigger pad and/or V-Hi-Hat that incorporates a stand, you’ll also want to use companion NE-1 units under each stand leg as necessary.

For maximum effectiveness, Roland recommends that Noise Eater products be used under all kick and hi-hat pedals and all legs on mesh-head kick pads and hi-hat stands in your V-Drums set. Learn more about the NE-10 and NE-1 Noise Eater products at RolandConnect.com. [jetpack_subscription_form]
